Lord Shri Krishna may be a god for many of us. But, for many other people, Lord Krishna is a big mystery. Numerous unanswered questions are surrounded across Sri Krishna stories such as Shri Krishna heart, Dwaraka mystery, Kurukshetram (Kurukshetra Yudham) and much more.
Mystery of Lord Shri Krishna Heart
About 5 years ago, in 2015, on June 15th at 12 o’clock midnight, something very strange happened in Jagannath Temple at Puri. This event made all historians turn their heads and wonder what is happening in this small town in India. Electricity was shut down not only in the temple area, but in the entire town of Puri suddenly.
Why? Because Krishna’s heart was being removed from the main idol of Jagannath temple, and was being placed in another idol. No, I don’t mean Krishna’s heart in a spiritual or mystical way, I mean it physically, Krishna’s actual heart is preserved there. But how can a heart be preserved in its original condition for 5000 years? Because it is a very advanced ancient device, it is not made of flesh and muscle, and people say it can generate power.
It starts to vibrate if exposed to light, not just sunlight, any form of light. This is why electricity was shut down. The people who touched this heart had to wear thick, heavy gloves and they also had to wear blindfolds to make sure they do not lay eyes on it.

Of course all this sounds strange, but it is true and we may be looking at evidence of very advanced ancient technology. First let us look at Krishna’s death, which is a mystery by itself. Today, many people do not know about Krishna’s death, but ancient sources clearly record his death.
In this article, we are going to answer one of the most common questions of Sri Krishna, Lord Sri Krishna Heart. Before going to the actual topic, let’s understand how Sri Krishna died.
How Lord Krishna Died?
After Kurushetram, one day Lord Krishna began his meditation under a tree when he retired into the wilderness. Then Lord Krishna was shot and killed by the hunter “Jara Sabar” who mistook his partially visible left foot for a deer’s foot. In the past life, Vaali was killed by Lord Rama in the Treta Yuga; he was born as Jara Sabar. In the Dwapara Yuga, Vaali got the option to take revenge on Sri Krishna by reincarnating as a hunter.
All of the Pandavs travelled there as soon as they heard about Sri Krishna’s death. Arjun removed the arrow from Lord Krishna’s foot. Lord Krishna died and abandoned his physical form. The body was transported by the Pandavas to the Bay of Bengal, where it was burnt. All of Sri Krishna’s body organs were destroyed, but the heart was not burned, but remained as it is, in its original form. Then the Pandavas tossed the heart into the ocean.
Jara Sabar jumped into the ocean to get Sri Krishna’s heart and somehow he was able to fetch it. To his surprise, the unburnt Sri Krishna heart was turned into Blue stone. He worshipped Shri Krishna heart secretly in a cave for over years and later his successors. Later, it was found by King Indradyumna who placed the Sri Krishna Blue stone inside Lord Jagannath idol.

As anything made of wood on this planet is subject to change and decay, the idols have to be changed after the eighth, twelfth, or nineteenth year of the previous replacement ritual.
It happens when Shri Krishna heart, which is ensconced inside the old statue, gets transferred to the new one. There is a notion that the ritual performer dies and communes with the Lord less than a year after performing the ritual.
This takes place in a very covert manner at midnight during the new moon. When performing this ceremony, only chosen priests are permitted. Some of them use clothes to close their eyes.
